My first photography project was an attempt to capture carnivals around the world. I only managed to shoot in Buenos Aires, Jujuy, and Montevideo, which made me realize I should start with slightly less ambitious projects.

At 18, I went on a month-and-a-half trip through Europe with five close friends. That was when I truly realized that "there is no money better spent than on travel."

I’m a huge fan and self-proclaimed connoisseur of dessert tables. My absolute favorite is lemon meringue pie.

After graduating high school, my close friends and I met for dinner every single Thursday without fail. We kept this tradition going uninterrupted for 15 years.

My father is Uruguayan, so "charrúa" blood runs through my veins. I love Uruguay, its people, its rhythms, and its landscapes.

As a teenager, I was in a band where I played guitar and sang—or at least tried to. During the pandemic lockdown, we reunited to play together again after many years, each from our own home.
