About Juan Pablo Mansilla

Photography came into my life somewhat by chance, mainly so I could "take beautiful photos of my baby boy" (I only had one back then. Later, his little brother arrived).

I started three different university degrees but, for one reason or another, never finished any. Thus, I proudly self-proclaim myself a "Graduate of General Studies," with high honors.

I am an enthusiastic athlete and a fitness evangelist. You won't cross paths with me without me trying to convince you to join me for a workout at some point.

I have been practicing contact sports for over 20 years: Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, and—wait for it—Greco-Roman Wrestling. Bet you didn't see that one coming!

I play the guitar a bit, though I suffer from a significant lack of talent... but I don't give up, so just in case, my guitars are definitely NOT for sale 🙂

I love long road trips. To me, jumping in the car and driving 1,500 kilometers is the perfect plan, and I do it every chance I get.

I am actually quite shy. If you ever spoke to me at a party and I seemed distant, I sincerely apologize. Next time, I'll invite you on my next road trip and we can split the driving 50/50.⁣

I am one of those who claim to "listen to everything," but classic heavy metal always dominates my playlists.

I love learning completely random new things: from web design to home composting in tight spaces.

I absolutely love the radio (podcasts too, though it's not the same magic), to the point where I try to organize my work schedule around my favorite shows.⁣
