The thing is, with the pandemic, the “traditional” wedding model began to be reconfigured a bit, and among other things, the choice of location started to play a much more prominent role: venues with outdoor space began gaining ground as they are the first ones couples choose in case celebrations in enclosed spaces are limited or restricted. If you add to this the “beach vibe” provided by the lake and sand at this venue, it makes it an absolute GEM for weddings in the new normal.

What is Sharewood Pilar Eventos?
Sharewood Pilar is essentially a 2-hectare park whose main feature is a wakeboard cable park, but its facilities are perfectly prepared for weddings and events in general.
It has a very nice artificial lake, surrounded by a beach, a bar, and enough space to set up different layouts depending on the type of wedding or event you are looking for; whether with tables, lounge areas, or a mix of both.
In fact, Sharewood has an exclusive catering service (*), which adapts its proposal to suit each event; although the most requested ones are usually the most relaxed: buffet-style, finger food, or burgers; which, when added to the bar, make for an excellent combo!

The Indoor Venue (Aka “The backup plan in case it rains”)
While Sharewood’s strong point is aimed at relaxation, the outdoors, and its spaces surrounded by nature, the venue also has an indoor hall of 288 m2 located on the shores of the lagoon. It has the distinct feature of being completely glass-enclosed, so it integrates perfectly with the natural landscape.
In case the weather doesn’t cooperate to hold everything outdoors, it’s essential to have this option.
What is the capacity of Sharewood Pilar?
For weddings and events, Sharewood works with a minimum of 50 guests but can hold a maximum of up to 450 people. It is truly very versatile and spacious!
Something Great about Sharewood for Photos and Video
From the point of view of photography and video, something very positive about Sharewood Pilar is that it has dozens of spots to explore and take photos.
If you organize your wedding during the day, the sunset is UN-MISS-ABLE for taking some lovely couple photos during the “golden hour”.
For example, at Mica and Gonza’s wedding, we took advantage of having plenty of time; we went for a stroll with them, searching for and taking advantage of every corner, and we ended up doing a photo (and video!) session where we were able to generate a lot of varied material.
How wonderful it is to work in those conditions, with everything going your way!

If you are planning an alternative wedding, one a bit removed from the most traditional customs, and you like the idea of a relaxed, outdoor wedding in a location surrounded by nature, this might just be the place for you!
