La Herencia Eventos is one of the newest venues in the northern zone, built specifically to function as a social event space. It is a modern venue with design details that adapts to large, medium, and small events alike, making it incredibly versatile. Set on a 15,000 m2 plot, it features over 2,200 m2 of indoor space, a 300 m2 semi-covered area in the form of a beautiful gallery, and more than 6,000 m2 of parkland. It is easily accessible via a paved and illuminated road, less than 1km from the Pilar branch of the Panamericana highway.
Outdoor ceremonies at La Herencia:
Thanks to its beautiful natural surroundings, La Herencia is a perfect choice if you are looking to have an outdoor wedding ceremony surrounded by greenery. The park is specially designed to host ceremonies, making the most of the natural light which, as we always tell our couples, is the best light we can have for capturing weddings. And in times of post-COVID weddings, these types of places are ideal even for holding 100% of your wedding outdoors.
The large park at La Herencia provides various alternatives for setting up the ceremony. There is an area with a metal structure to set up a gazebo, but there are also other places that can be used if you prefer to mount a more personalized setting.
Plan B for the ceremony at La Herencia:
As we know, a good wedding venue isn’t complete if it doesn’t have an indoor alternative to celebrate the ceremony in case of rain. And La Herencia has several covered alternatives that we have verified ourselves and that we will tell you about below:
Ceremony in the Gallery:
The gallery is a very good alternative for the ceremony if there is a threat of rain and temperature is not an issue. It is a semi-open space that allows us to continue connecting with the lush greenery while staying sheltered from the water. Personally, we find it works best for weddings of 150 guests or fewer… if there were more guests, the following option would likely work better.
Ceremony in the Reception Hall:
We have also had the chance to test ceremonies in this hall, which is usually used for the reception and/or dessert table, and we believe it is ideal for medium and large wedding ceremonies that need to be celebrated indoors. It is a 270m2 hall with huge windows that allow for contact with the greenery outside, but with the peace of mind of being well protected from the elements.
A large parking lot:
One of the strongest points this venue has is its large-capacity parking lot. While most venues in the area have this sorted out, La Herencia has it completely paved and very close to its covered entrance. This makes it perfect in case of rain, the biggest worry for heel lovers.
The Main Hall:
The main hall at La Herencia is a huge 630m2 column-free space prepared to host weddings from 200 to 600 seated guests, as it is easily compartmentalized if necessary. This hall also allows for the attachment of the adjacent sector, the Solado, which expands the capacity to 1000 seated guests.
It can be accessed from the Lobby through its large wooden doors or from the gallery. Its sober design with clean lines and neutral colors makes it ideal for each couple to add their personal touch through the decor of their choice. The main hall features 4 service entrances connecting to technical corridors, which allow for efficient service, proper isolation of the service areas, and a more streamlined setup process.
The Bridal Suite at La Herencia:
Another highlight of this wedding venue in Pilar is the room dedicated to the couple. With a beautiful design, it is super spacious and features enormous windows that provide the perfect light needed to document the getting-ready process for the bride, the groom, or why not, both. Special mention goes to the large mirror, so essential for brides to follow their hair and makeup step-by-step. It is even comparable to local wedding night hotel rooms, so you could give it that extra use and end the night there to put the perfect finishing touch on your day.
